Erectile Dysfunction Treatment in Tampa

A modern, pelvic-health–focused approach to erectile dysfunction that helps men restore function, confidence, and performance — without relying solely on medication.

Common ED Symptoms We Treat

At Alinea Performance, We Frequently Work With Men Experiencing:

  • Difficulty getting or maintaining an erection
  • Reduced firmness or “inconsistent” erections
  • Loss or morning erections
  • Performance anxiety or tension during intimacy
  • Erectile changes are prostate surgery
  • Premature fatigue or loss of erection during intercourse

Why Erectile Dysfunction Doesn't Fix Itself

Erectile dysfunction affects millions of men but is rarely talked about openly. While many assume ED is purely a “blood flow issue,” it is often influenced by pelvic floor dysfunction, nerve sensitivity, stress, post-surgical changes, or tension patterns in the hips, core, and pelvis.

ED can impact confidence, intimacy, self-image, and overall quality of life.  But the encouraging truth is this: many physical factors contributing to ED are highly treatable.

By addressing pelvic floor coordination, blood flow, nervous system balance, core pressure, and movement patterns, many men experience meaningful improvement — even if medications haven’t fully worked.

Common Conditions We Treat in Tampa

At Alinea Performance, we specialize in treating a wide range of erectile dysfunction conditions:

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Weak, tight, or uncoordinated pelvic floor muscles can restrict blood flow, disrupt erection quality, and cause premature fatigue during arousal.

Vascular-Related Erectile Changes

Circulation issues or pressure imbalance in the pelvis that reduce firmness or make erections difficult to maintain.

Post-Prostatectomy ED

Nerve irritation, pelvic floor weakness, and decreased blood flow after prostate surgery — areas highly responsive to targeted pelvic and functional rehab.

Pudendal Neuralgia / Nerve Irritation

Pain, tingling, or burning along the pelvis, genitals, or rectal area caused by irritation of the pudendal or surrounding nerves.

Stress, Tension, and Guarding

Chronic tension in the abdominal wall, pelvic floor, and hips can shut down the parasympathetic (“rest and arouse”) system that supports erections.

Pelvic Pain–Related ED

Erectile difficulties connected to chronic pelvic pain, testicular pain, or tension-driven discomfort.

Why People in Tampa Choose Alinea Performance for Erectile Dysfunction Treatment

At Alinea Performance, we specialize in treating a wide range of erectile dysfunction conditions:

We Treat the Actual Cause of ED — Not Just the Symptoms

ED is rarely just a “blood flow issue.” It’s often a combination of pelvic floor dysfunction, tension, weak coordination, nerve irritation, and pressure management problems. We identify the exact drivers so you get long-lasting results—not just temporary solutions.

A Proven, Natural Approach That Improves Performance Without Medication

Many men believe pills are the only answer. They’re not. Our ED program combines focused shockwave therapy, pelvic floor treatment, and performance-based rehab to improve erection quality naturally and safely—without relying on medication.

Specialized Care for Post-Prostatectomy and Long-Standing ED

ED after prostate surgery or years of frustration can feel discouraging, but both respond extremely well to targeted rehab. We help men restore blood flow, rebuild pelvic coordination, and regain confidence—even when nothing has worked before.

Focused Shockwave + Pelvic PT = Faster, Stronger Results

Most clinics use only shockwave or only pelvic PT. We combine the two, which research supports as the most effective way to improve erectile function, sensitivity, blood flow, and performance.

Private, 1-on-1 Care With a Specialist Who Makes You Feel Comfortable

ED is uncomfortable to talk about—unless you’re with someone who specializes in it. Our therapists work with men every day, offer a judgment-free atmosphere, and walk you through a clear plan so you feel supported, not embarrassed.

We Help You Regain Function, Confidence, and Control

ED affects more than sexual performance—it affects confidence, relationships, and quality of life. Our goal is to help you get stronger erections, better endurance, improved sensitivity, and the confidence that comes with feeling fully in control again.

No. The state of Florida does NOT require a referral to be seen by a physical therapist. This includes Medicare patients as Medicare does NOT require a referral. However, if you are using insurance there are some specific plans that do have requirements regarding signatures or referrals. If your insurance has specific requirements, we will let you know before your first visit.

During your first visit, you'll undergo a comprehensive evaluation. We'll discuss your medical history, assess your current condition, and perform a physical examination. This helps us understand your specific needs and goals. Based on this information, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique situation. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions and discuss any concerns you might have about your treatment.

Yes. When appropriate, we use manual therapy techniques like joint mobilization, soft-tissue work, dry needling, and directional loading strategies. These help decrease pain quickly so you can move more easily and progress into strengthening.

In many cases, yes. Most pain improves with the right combination of movement correction, strength training, and hands-on care. We’ll also tell you honestly if imaging or a surgical consult is appropriate.

Yes. One of our main goals is education. You’ll understand exactly what is causing your pain, why it’s happening, and how to fix it. Knowing the root cause reduces fear and speeds up recovery.

If pain limits your workouts, daily activities, sleep, or quality of life—even slightly—PT is the right next step. A short evaluation can determine exactly what’s going on and what your fastest path forward looks like.
