Dr. Jake Lape is a native of Jackson, MS. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Ole Miss and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. While in PT school, he also earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, and he has experience as an online strength coach. His first experience with physical therapy was amongst his own high school sports injuries, so he understands therapy from both the patient and therapist perspective.

He has clinical experience with outpatient sports and orthopedics, and he is also a certified Dry Needling provider through United Dry Needling.  In his free time, you can find Dr. Lape on a golf course, lifting weights, running, watching sports, or trying a new restaurant with his wife, Maddie. Dr. Lape’s passion is to provide a fitness-forward approach to healthcare! He strives to improve patients function through an active approach, while promoting a sustainable active lifestyle.
